What Makes Watkins Unique – Part 2

There are (and were) plenty of MLM companies out there with “unique” products. Exotic juices, rare herbs, strange devices, etc. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Not too long ago, there was just one place (an MLM company) you could buy pomegranate juice. Now I see it in all the grocery stores and even convenient stores. It was unique. Was.

Remember when you could get cheap long distance from MLM companies? That was unique too. Was. How would you like to be in a cheap long distance MLM company today?

How about water filters? They weren’t so popular in homes until an MLM company brought ‘affordable’ filters to the masses. That was somewhat unique. Was.

Meal replacement drinks really became popular from MLM. That was unique. Was. Can you say SlimFast?

What Makes Watkins Unique – Part 1

Watkins is a money making, network marketing business. But most people don’t know that, even if they know about Watkins. To most people, it’s a very established company with great products that they don’t want to run out of. They don’t know that fortunes can be made with this company.

Watkins is unique and, dare I say it, perhaps the best MLM company to hitch your wagon to in order to create your own long-term business and income stream. And I say that knowing full well how “hypey” that sounds, and that others in other companies say the same thing.

But I think I have good arguments to back this up.

The Watkins Ant and the Grasshopper

In a field one fine summer’s day, a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart’s content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with a great stack of signed Watkins associate agreement forms and customer invoices for sales that he was taking to file and he was speaking on his cell phone, training one of his new Watkins associates.

“Why not come and chat and play video games with me,” said the Grasshopper, “instead of toiling and moiling in that way?” Covering the phone’s mouthpiece, “I am helping to create ongoing income to provide necessities for my family’s future,” said the Ant, “and recommend you to do the same.” “Why bother about the future?” said the Grasshopper, “we have got plenty of food and income at present and I foresee only promotions and raises in the future.” But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil. When the economy took a turn for the worse
and layoffs were the norm, the Grasshopper and his family had no food and found itself about to become homeless, while it saw the ants depositing checks and eating like kings, reaping the rewards of the work they had done earlier. Then the Grasshopper knew:

It is best to prepare ahead of time for the days of necessity.

Don’t wait until you are thirsty to dig your well!

The Future. What’s That?

Do you want to know what the primary number one reason people “fail” in MLM and Network Marketing?

Well, I’ll tell you anyway.

It’s so simple. It’s so obvious. And yet I see so many people fall into this trap.
I see some people on the Internet bad mouthing MLM saying that it doesn’t work and everyone fails except the select few. Usually it seems that they think it’s the people who get in first who succeed and “make money off all the ‘suckers’ who follow them who are doomed to failure.”

This is simply not true. And I have proof. Me and my wife. We joined our MLM company a bit late. 123 years late to be exact. Yes, the company had been in business for 123 years before we joined. Some may say that it wasn’t MLM all those years – Amway was the first MLM company and it was only founded 49 years ago. Technically, perhaps. But Watkins had been using most of the Network Marketing concepts for 91 years before Amway was founded. Technically, Watkins turned “true MLM” in 1979. If you go by the technical date, we still joined Watkins 12 years after it went “true” MLM.
